Experienced medicine.
Personal care.
Fewer barriers.
— a quiet not-for-profit healthcare outlet, ran by a physician.
Physician-led care for everyday health needs, complex medical questions, and the moments when you simply need someone to help you figure things out.

Kinchit K. Shah
MD, FACP
Board-Certified Internal Medicine
Medicine has taken me through many different rooms.
Outpatient clinics. Hospital wards. Intensive care units. Procedure rooms. Medical classrooms. Administrative meetings.
And, most importantly, thousands of conversations with patients and families trying to understand what happens next.
My medical career has included training and experience across Internal Medicine, Critical Care, complex medical care, clinical research, ultrasound, medical education, and healthcare leadership.
That diversity has shaped the way I practice medicine. I believe good medical care requires more than knowing the diagnosis. It requires understanding the person sitting in front of you.
Physician. Teacher. Lifelong learner.
In addition to caring for patients, I remain deeply involved in medical education. I have taught and mentored medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals, and have participated in curriculum development, quality improvement, clinical research, and physician leadership.
The best physicians never stop asking questions.
I founded Shreeji Clinic, a not-for-profit organization, because I consistently observed how challenging it had become for everyday individuals to obtain simple medical care.
People were facing long waits for appointments.
Families were uncertain about where to take visiting parents.
Patients encountered exorbitant bills for issues that could often have been resolved much earlier.
Others completely avoided seeking healthcare due to costs, lack of insurance, or fear.
The goal
To create an additional entry point into the healthcare system.
- —Not a substitute for primary care.
- —Not a replacement for specialists.
- —Not an alternative to emergency medicine.
Rather, a space where someone can say: "I need help figuring this out."
And truly be heard by a physician.
Thoughtful, practical care — without unnecessary barriers.
Whether you need a medication refill, a routine checkup, a second opinion, or help understanding a complicated medical issue — the goal is the same: to listen carefully and respond with care.
A note on access
Affordable care for the under-insured and uninsured — for people of all backgrounds, faiths, and visa statuses.
If you need help accessing care, please reach out.
Request careHealthcare belongs in the community.
Shreeji Clinic participates in community outreach initiatives intended to bring basic medical services closer to the people who need them.
Sometimes a simple blood test, conversation, or medication review identifies a problem before it becomes something much larger.

"Come with questions. Leave with a plan."
The work that shapes the work.
Beyond direct patient care, my work spans medical education, clinical research, point-of-care ultrasound, quality improvement, and physician leadership — each informing the others, and each ultimately returning to the exam room.
If you need help figuring this out, reach out.
Whether you're a current patient, a prospective one, a colleague, or simply curious about the practice — the door is open.
